We'd rather show sites you can open right now than mockups. Here are four of them — with what's actually running behind them.
A site that sells vehicles sourced in China to West African buyers, in a market where the number-one fear is paying for a car you'll never see — or won't see as advertised. Every part of the site answers that fear before it talks price.
What we built
- 80 static pages: catalogue, how it works, blog, FAQ, legal pages.
- VIN history report and physical inspection of the actual vehicle in Guangzhou, offered before any payment commitment.
- Contact form with built-in spam protection, plus direct WhatsApp access (Senegal and China) so a lead is never forced to wait on email.
- Hardened security headers (strict CSP, HSTS, anti-clickjacking) — unusual for a showcase site in this sector.
Under the hood
Deliberate choice: zero application server. For a catalogue plus a form, a fully static site has no server-side attack surface, loads in a few hundred milliseconds, and costs almost nothing to host.
Non-negotiable product rule set by the client from day one: no invented prices, no fabricated testimonials, no VIN ever published online.
A public showcase and, behind it, a full management platform for a freight company coordinating three continents at once: sales in China, ocean transit, and final reception and delivery across Central and East Africa.
What we built
- Public site presenting shipping modes (LCL groupage, full container FCL, air freight) and hubs (Guangzhou, Yiwu, Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Kampala).
- Client CRM and order management, with automatic volume (CBM) and container-fill calculation.
- Real-time shipment tracking by status (reception → consolidation → departure → transit → customs → delivery), publicly checkable by tracking number, no account needed.
- Proforma invoice generation as PDF, directly from the platform.
Under the hood
A real engineering detail: the build had to be forced onto Webpack instead of Turbopack — Netlify's Edge Functions bundler doesn't yet resolve Turbopack output correctly on Windows.
A company that likely tracked orders across spreadsheets and WhatsApp now runs on one system — sales, logistics, invoicing — with tracking the end client can verify themselves.

Visit the site — dakelion.com ↗Not a generic showcase site: four distinct paths for four buyer profiles (merchants, SME/equipment, public tenders and NGOs, diaspora), each addressing its own real fear with its own calculator — a reseller and an NGO answering a tender don't share the same problem.
What we built
- 7 free tools, no account required: CBM/container calculator, air-vs-sea comparator, landed-cost calculator, proforma generator, timeline estimator, supplier-verification checklist, spec-sheet builder.
- Public shipment registry — dates, corridors, real delivery times, statuses, no client names — as verifiable proof rather than a marketing number.
- A French-中文 glossary to smooth direct exchanges with Chinese suppliers.
Under the hood
Deliberate choice: no user accounts and no real-time writes are needed here. Astro + JSON keeps every page near-instant — Preact only hydrates the calculators — without losing the feel of a real product.

Consulate General of Senegal in Guangzhou
Public service — diplomatic mission, South China
Visit the site — consulsengzh.org ↗A different kind of project from the three above: not a business to grow, but a diplomatic mission that needs to know who its nationals are across four Chinese provinces, reach them in an emergency, and answer them around the clock — 10,000 kilometres from Dakar.
What we built
- Bilingual French/中文 institutional site: the Consulate's mission, nine detailed consular procedures, and an economic section dedicated to Senegal-China trade (GACC/CIFER customs procedures, zero-tariff regime).
- Espace Diaspora: consular registration in 3 minutes from a phone, with a digital consular card and verification QR code issued instantly.
- A conversational assistant in French, Wolof, Chinese and English that steers people toward registration and recognizes an emergency without ever standing in for an actual consular decision.
- A dashboard reserved for the Consul and staff: searchable registry, real-time indicators, an automatically generated monthly report for the Ministry, and SMS alert broadcasting.
- 599 paper consular files (2017–2025) digitized and folded into the online registry.
Under the hood
Deliberate choice: community alerts go out by SMS rather than an app or WhatsApp — blocked in mainland China without a VPN. SMS runs over the local phone network and remains the one channel that actually reaches everyone in a real crisis.
